Ms. Herbosa is the former SEC Chairperson from 2011 to 2018, and author of “The Revised Corporation Code Its Theories and Applications”.
While at SEC, she was a member of the AMLC, Chairperson of the Credit Information Corporation and the Microfinance NGO Regulatory Council.
She is a practicing lawyer with 30 years of experience in complex commercial disputes. Currently she is Of Counsel of ACCRALAW and independent director of several corporations in banking and financial services.
She finished AB and LlB degrees both cum laude from UP and has a masters from University of Michigan
